Prominent citizens of Cross River North congratulated Governor Ben Ayade on the completion and start of production of Ogoja Vitamin Rice Mill.
Speaking shortly after witnessing the production process, a leader of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Dornklaimz Enamhe, congratulated Ayade on the achievement.
Enamhe said: “The governor is in the All Progressives Congress (APC), I am in the PDP. I am the managing director of Senator Jarigbe Agom’s campaign organization, but this is not about politics. It’s a matter of effort, hard work and people and I have to congratulate him. There is no need to talk about partying here. Let’s be honest, what I saw was breathtaking and very impressive.
Similarly, another PDP member in the state, Chief Ikani Wogar, described the factory as one that would provide employment opportunities for the people.
“This investment will provide work for the sons and daughters of Ogoja. We thank His Excellency very much for the industrialization of Ogoja, especially this rice mill. »
The king of Ishiborr, Ntol Mbeje Amar III, who also witnessed the production of rice at the mill, congratulated the governor on the achievement.
While declaring that the mill would be of immense benefit to the people, the monarch said, “All the rice harvest that will henceforth be done in Ogoja will be milled here. We thank the governor very much. We have seen the rice, we have tasted it and it is so clean. All the machines, we have seen how they work”.
